Rotoscoping (a.k.a: I fuck with pictures of myself in photoshop in a futile effort to make them more flattering)

Rotoscoping is a process employed in a photography and film used to give live action sequences a cartoon-ish feel. This can bee seen in such films as A Scanner Darkly and some parts of Heavy Metal. A painstaking process when used for film, involving a complex rig and requiring hours of work per frame.

The process has, like many things, been made easier by modern technology.

Anyways, my pic was made in photoshop in a process taking about 5 minutes.
I just opened up the pic of myself and created a blank layer over it. Using a thin brush, I traced over my head (Trying to ignore the uneven lighting). Once that was done, I exported the traced layer to a fresh image and saved. Simples.

The Story Of Revelation X

Revelation X was born in December 2008. It was the brainchild, as far as I know, of 2 men. Macaveli and Beyond. These men were, in my opinion, experts in their chosen fields(Drugs and Security respectively) . Originally these men resided and posted on Bombshock, until Headcase (One of the boards Supermods, who was essentially, in control of the forum. The reason for this wad the inactivity of .Xpl0sive., the sites owner and admin.) had himself a bit of a power trip. Mac decided to make a site where all kinds of tutorials would be posted. But, he decided to instead create a fringe forum. I recieved an invite to the site via a PM from Beyond. As soon as I got there, I applied for a mod possition, which I got. And for the next few months everything was smooth sailing. Apart from the odd spambot attack, we wer doing fine. Around , March however, we got some bad news. Mac was going to jail. I won't divulge why this was to happen, all I will say was that it had to. He had a 6 month sentance to look forward to, starting sometime in April. From then on, Beyond (Who had renamed himself Dynamo at this stage) became the only admin on the forum (Before hand, the administration had taken a very active role in the running of the site compared to other fringe sites I frequent). Within a month or two of this happening, RX went down. This happened because the host dropped RX due to "Questionable content" or some shit.
But with the end of Mac's 6 month sentance looming, things are looking up for RX.

The answer: I don't know.
I guess I'll use it to plot general happenings in my life, the shit I make, interesting/funny shit I find. All of that, maybe more.

So I played my first game of Brikwars the other day. Well, actually I played the "QuikWars" supplement, but it's all good.Battle field looked like this:

I played attacker and Liam, my bud, played defender.
Attackers goal was to get the damaged power core and use it to blow up the Inhibitor on the radio tower. Defenders goal was to stop me from using the radio tower. Secondary objective for Defender was using the damaged power core to power the siege weapon.
In the end, I won, even after completely fucking up a few of my stupendous feats (after so many failures, my hero went into depression for a few turns and ended up getting killed).
We had to use some of my 40k models in lieu of actual lego minifigs, because in a sad turn of events, all of my lego has disappeared.
